Team Chemistry

School your audience in collaboration with this team-building experience.

Teamwork is elementary.

What was school like when you were growing up? What do you remember about your teachers and classmates? What items filled up your bookbag or lunchbox?

We all carry important life lessons we learned in the classroom or on the playground …. long after recess is over.

Team Chemistry™ draws on those fond memories to train work teams how to accomplish more together through fun, interactive puzzles and activities all housed in retro Trapper Keepers.

Set in a 1990s classroom, and inclusive of all decades of learning, players turn into students as they meet their substitute chemistry teacher, Ms. Drizzle, and try to decode the “assignments” she’s given them to complete.

Using calculators, rulers, crayons, and vintage Lisa Frank pencils, teams of 6-8 will work together, and with the larger class, to finish all the lessons in hopes of winning a prize!

1990s tunes—featuring pop, grunge, hip hop, country, and boy bands—help keep teams on task and from saying Bye, Bye, Bye to all the insights they’ll learn.

Sixty- and 90-minute game experiences are offered, in person or virtually, and may be played with small or large groups.

Play

Adults need playtime, too.

Rather than talking about team dynamics using Power Point slides, Team Chemistry™ transports audiences back to the classroom to experience, reflect, learn, and teach lessons in working together.

Rooted in adult-learning theory and inclusive learning styles, the game taps into the power of play, which is known to boost creativity, connection, engagement, learning retention, productivity, pleasurable work, and well-being.

WHEN YOU LEARN, TEACH.

After experiencing the game, audiences reflect on their learning and discuss ways to apply their takeaways on the job!

The nostalgia-fueled game brings smiles to the players while driving critical outcomes including how to:

  • Draw on commonalities to connect diverse teams.
  • Use games to generate creativity, performance, engagement, learning retention, well-being, and joy!
  • Break down silos and make sure of a common goal across the organization.
  • Create strengths-based teams that empower all people to thrive.
  • Design communication and organizational systems in real time.
  • Reflect on experiences, create strategies to improve, and teach others what you learn.

This game is dedicated to my beloved Grammy, Chloe Bordwine, who taught third grade for 30 years. She influenced so many lives… including my own. Her legacy carries on through this game, and in the classroom of leadership and life. – Jessica
